Enhanced Passenger Comfort
To ensure passenger comfort during flights lasting up to 22 hours, Qantas has reduced the number of seats to 238, significantly fewer than the typical 300-seat configuration of the A350-1000. This reduction allows for increased legroom and the inclusion of innovative features such as a dedicated "Wellbeing Zone."

Cabin Classes and Amenities
First Class Suites: Each aircraft will house six luxurious First Class suites, designed to offer an unparalleled level of comfort and privacy.
Business Class: The Business Class section features 52 suites, each equipped with a sliding door for enhanced privacy, a spacious dining table, and ample storage space.
Premium Economy and Economy: The aircraft will also include 40 Premium Economy seats and 140 Economy seats, all designed with passenger comfort in mind.
Passengers across all classes will have access to complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for in-flight entertainment systems.
Wellbeing Zone
A standout feature of the new design is the "Wellbeing Zone," situated between the Economy and Premium sections. This area is equipped with on-screen exercise programs, stretch handles, and hydration stations, encouraging passengers to move and stay refreshed during the long-haul journey.

Launch Timeline
Qantas plans to receive the first of these adapted Airbus A350-1000s by the end of next year, with initial flights operating from Sydney to Auckland for crew training purposes. The inaugural non-stop flights to London and New York are expected to commence in early 2027.
With these advancements, Qantas aims to redefine the experience of long-haul travel, offering passengers unprecedented comfort and convenience on some of the world's longest flight routes.
